So I've been seeing this guy for like a month and a half. His birthday is Tomorrow. Was wondering should i get him something? Would it be weird since we've only seen eachother for like six weeks. If I should get him something...what? I hate all these relationship politics. grrr...He likes meat so was thinking of taking him out to tony romas for some nice ribs, or I could get him some massage oil and then he could give me nice massages whenever he likes . See it's a win win situation for both! So what should I do. Present or no present?

If he is a big meat eater, a night at a steak house is a great idea. and maybe something small to go with that, you have been only with him for 6 weeks...no jewlery thats for dam sure, no teddy bears, no love cards...those are very lovey dovey, and you do not want to send the wrong message, unless i have read wrong and that is the message you want to send.
Does he like cars? get him a Car Detailing gift certificate, does he like Video Games, get him a game, does he like sports, get him tickets or a jersey or something, all nice gifts that say, "i like ya, but its only been 6 weeks!"

Hey you know, many coules have met and gotten married within that time frame! It all depends on how you feel about him. Are you pretty sold on him, or are you guys kinda getting to be more like hang-out buddies. Are your conversations deep? how´s his behavior when he´s around you?
Are you guys "exclusive" or is there an "open" thing going on.
I would go with taking him out to dinner, and maybe a book on whatever his interest are.
If I was in his position and I got a dinner, I would be stoked! If I got a book on Film making, acting, Brando, deniro, duvall, real estate investing, self motivational, blah, blah, blah...I´d be stoked and be giving you a massage that night- without the oil ! But, I wouldn´t expect anything sappy.
If you went the book route, always write something on the inside cover/or first page. It just personalizes it.
Good luck! And remember, he´ll just be happy that you´re there to celebrate that special day with him

In that case, he should start with dessert :P !
As of this writing, 4:30am, you´re probably presenting him with a b-day present(Voyd´s suggestion) :D J/k
Hope you two had a great time!
