I'm trying not to plan too much for my trip but it is hard. It isn't until August.

I totally feel ya...and that's why I'm such a hardcore budget planner! Being in the US is bad enough...I don't even want to think about going to places like the UK where everything is 7 times more expensive!

Air Europa...the relatively new "low cost" Spanish carrier. I would say it's legit enough not to worry about. As for cheaper deals, not sure I can help you. Maybe check all other European gateways from S. America? All you need to do is get to Europe, then you can find one of the low cost Easyjet or Ryanair type carriers. So, check London, Amsterdam, Dublin, etc....
Good luck! And have fun...

I LOVE to procrastinate! Ok not reallt but damn I do it alot. I'm suppose to leave mid April and I'm just now finishing paying off my car. I still have my ticket to get and to save. I'm stressing.... but hey at least I have my passport.... of course that is if I can find it :D....jk.... I hope.....
I'm not really worried about planning in the sense of what I'll do over there as much as making sure everything over here is in order. And that I'll have enough money to get to Cali when I get back.....

Maybe planning is the wrong word. Research is more what I did. Since I wasn't very familiar with the places we went, I wanted to find out what was there and nearby to do. With those in my mind, we were able to throw out ideas when we were in each respective place and decide then...
