Hmmm...I won a TV when I was ten..coloring contest at the pharmacy :D Other than that I think I won a book in grade 1. The TV was pretty cool, but I'd trade it for Cancun anyday!

dont every buy a time share.....most of the time u can never use them when u want 2, and there next impossible 2 sell--------almost everyone takes a huge loss when getting rid of them
My parents have a time share and they love it. They own theirs but can transfer it to any property that is managed by the same company. So they bounce around Florida (Orlando, Key West, Marco Island, etc.). I have looked into them and they don't seem to be too bad for what you get. Actually, my parents had a couple, but they just got rid of their other one. They didn't lose out on it.

Unhappy

sijuki i have never owned one, but what im refering to was a big article in money magazine about time shares ------and the important points where those that the majority of people end up taking huge losses and have to sell it back 2 the realitor.......it was in an issue like a year back------it covered all the problems that people had trying 2 use them.

basically if your parents love theres thats great.....it does work 4 some then.

Hey Mocassin, you know what I learned about traveling when a free trip is presented?

Its best to take an absolute stranger from a message board whose only expression of themselves is a bunny who you'd never see at a kid's birthday party

Thats just what I've learned though...
