the quake occurred about 200 miles away from LA -- didn't feel a thing. Then again I was also majorly knocked out on Nyquil. but thanks for the concern ya'll. i keep forgetting we live in earthquake central.

Thanks for checking in on us, folks !

Right at that time, I was just sitting working away...I didn't feel squat, but all my work mates that sit within 7 feet from me felt it big time! I'm like, "say what?" Guess I was too focused on what I was doing to be distracted by anything ...I feel so left out !

I have felt many earthquake and aftershocks since moving to LA 9 yrs ago. Nothing disasterousm, though, thank God. As sinister as it sounds, they're kinda fun. Kinda like the earth getting the willies !

Yeah.. I have only experienced one earthquake. It was one of the largest here in the Detroit area. It was a whole 3.5 on the richter scale . So it was barely anything, but it was kinda cool to feel everything rumble a bit.

Glad to hear everyone is ok out there.

I always used to think, when I was little and learning about how not to jump out of windows during fires when there's a door, that an earthquake would be so fun. We'd all sit under out teeny desks and huddle up like we were watching a halloween special on TV. Maybe giggle and play Miss Mary Mack 'till it was over.
Alas, no earthquakes.
We had one a year back I think, in the morning, and it was just a little shaking or something. Everyone was all "did you feel it? did you feel it?" at school...I was awake and all but I didn't feel a thing!

Yeah, it happened about 15 miles from my house.

threw my monitors off the desk. One broke, the other two are okay. Had aftershocks all night last night. Didn't sleep much cause it felt like some imaginary drunk driver kept crashing into my house every hour.

More later.

Out.
