So we were down by one point and I decided to strip the ball from a 7 foot 260+ guy to win the game. Then I woke up with a bloodsoaked t-shirt across my forehead. Don't worry, it only took 6 HOURS!!!!!! to get stitches at the ER.
The pics won't really give my wound justice b/c of the butterfly bandage but you can kinda see the damage done. At least I get them taken out before my trip. A good conversation starter w/ the locals that's all.
live and learn

It was basketball. And no pain meds for me b/c the doctor says he want me to be able to "feel any unusual pain" and if I do to return to the ER. That's reassuring.

Let's hope so.
Dude, I have so many scars it's not cool. 16 stitches in left ankle(surfboard fin) 22 in the left wrist(drunk freestyle walking) 3 for a busted tooth (cleet to the face). Just tally this one up I guess.

First of all-- dude! ER! Stitches! Lame!! That sucks.
Scars are (usually) fun. Only because I have such a vast collection that I love hearing about people who have hurt themselves as much or more than me, lol. Makes me feel like less of a dork I guess. Fortunately I heal rapidly and the scars fade really quick, but they're definitely there. Do guys dig scars? haha. Some of them have extremely interesting stories behind 'em.

Yep i sure do dig scars on chicks. Dunno why, maybe because there's usually some cool story behind them or it shows an adventurous spirit or something.

By sweet, i assume you mean totally sweet, like a ninja is totally sweet. Hell, thats so sweet I could crap my pants! :D
Scars are cool, IMO. I have one on the tip of my finger from 6 stitches to put it back on due to an unfortunate workmen's comp accident...
But each scar tells a story, and you can feel free to embelish. You were playing ball with Shaq and he fouled you, right? :D

Yea, as you might be able to tell from the last couple of meet-ups pics, I will be having a nice scar right between my eyes from my swimming pool fun in New Orleans I have more than I'd care to remember.

I don't really have many scars other than little ones. The tendency for me when I get hurt is breaking or spraining! Which isn't quite so hot. lol

Just woke up and for some reason my head is killing me! Oh yeah, I have a massive slash across my noggin.
Do guys gig scars? I dated this girl once who played alot of indoor soccer and she was always banged up. She didn't give a damn about them which made me like her even more.
Excuse me, I have an ice pack calling my name.

I totally dig scars on guys, but I have to agree that it's the story behind the scar that makes it that much more interesting.
And for the record - I have a lot of scars too... I was a very accident prone kid. Come the think of it there were summers where I would visit the hospital ER 3 times in less than 2 months
