Today is my lucky day: I won a trip...It's 3 nights in Orlando, then 2 nights in Daytona with a 2 nights cruise in the Bahamas (all you can eat buffet...). Nice hotels and Disney Pleasure Island Tickets...There are also 4 nights in Cancun... :stoked: :blink:

I have 18 months to book for the 2 things...And it's all for 4 persons. Youppppiiiiii!!!! I thought there was a trap but it seems there's none!!!

It will sound wierd, but a flashing add came up while I was reading Dilbert's comics on the internet, saying I had won something...So I clicked the add for fun and it said to call a number within 3 minutes...

So I thought I had nothing to loose and called, wanting to find out what the trap was. So I called and they verified that I did win (versus a rebate) and offered me this deal because I did win. Since I usually drive down to Miami anyways, it's like a free place to stay! Then I bought the cruise for a total of 99$ for 4 people (and it's usually 350$ per person)...

I asked what I had to buy, but they said I only have to take a 2-3 hours tour of their accomodations (I think they sell condos) but have nothing to buy...And then they make sure I have a great time and send them a postcard and tell all my friends about their hotels. I can also sell the thing if I can't go. I'm still a bit suspicious about all this but I can't find something wrong, so I guess it's all true!

I was mailed one of those one time. It was similar to yours

* Trip to Orlando, with a free rental car with unlimited mileage for 5 days, return the car in Miami to board a cruise ship for a 4 or 5 day caribbean cruise. I can't remember the exact details but it was a really cool thing. All I had to do was one day between orlando and miami go for a conference and a tour similar to yours. They were fronting the entire $1500 the trip would cost for me and one other person. I looked and looked through all of it, even the small print and couldn't find a single thing that threw off the validiity of it. I was half tempted to take it, but didn't have anyone to go with. :crybaby:

I convinced myself it was a scam anyway, so i wouldn't feel bad. But best of luck with it. Hope you have fun.

i did something like that......they told me 2 just come and visit the grounds, they had a small buffet meal set up......and they gave u choice of gifts ----just 4 taking time out of your day....it lasted 4 hours and bored me 2 so bad all i could think about was doing some heavy drinking.....its gonna be a really full court press sales pitch.......and everyone u talk 2 loves the place, its a steal and all that other stuff......blah- :angry: ---------just remember moc....( or anyone )
dont every buy a time share.....most of the time u can never use them when u want 2, and there next impossible 2 sell--------almost everyone takes a huge loss when getting rid of them. :o

Im sure that you will have a great time....Cancun is one 24-hour crazy party.......Yea Orlando is like 3-4 hours away from me....and I have a bunch of friends down there that I need a good reason to go visit....

I think you got it set; a little suspicion is enough to keep you out of trouble but not so much that you can't have a good time.

In Cancun, food and drink (alcooloc and non-alcoolic) are included...WN I promess I won't buy anything...And I never win anything either, but I just learned in a nice book to take advantage of the opportunities offered to you in life... ;)

sounds like a time-share. i guess they used to be really good deals a few years back, but now they've become popular... so dont let them talk you into it. Theyre gonna pamper you and get you into some infomercial type set with excellent/ charismatic sales people. Dont fall for it ;) (well unless of course you plan on going on vacation in orlando every year for the rest of your life).

i once won a trip to florida at a bar, but i was too drunk to realize that I won so I left before taking care of business. They called the next morning to remind me. DOH!!!
