well i'm back from the races and i am up 50 bucks. at the start of the day i took out $100 had a few wins and a few loosers and a few beers. and when i left i had $150 so all in all a good day.

Best present: a pair of socks
worst present: the mandrin i found in my socks

we don't really exchng gifts and i was amazed at how many presents 2 of our roomies exchanged.

well all i asked for was money for my trip

i got perfume, 2 shirts, socks, underwear, jewelry, bath and body, candles, about $100 in gift cards, AAA insurance, and $700...i was SHOCKED....im so stoked

I got a digital camera, as I was still in the 35mm phase...gift certs, clothes, mitts/toque/scarf, and what I think is the greatest book, The Travel Book put out by Lonely Planet that features pictures/info on every country in the world.

I got clothes, a few gift cards from my siblings and a really really nice set of samsonite luggage from my parents as well as an epson photo printer!
My grandfather gave me a ton of cash which i really needed to put away for my trip and my cousin gave me an awesome daypack by northface!

I got a new pair of hiking shoes, a waterproof windbreaker jacket (for traveling in particularly nasty weather), some wool socks...and uh, the main gift: A new refrigerator!

-along with a kick ass flash unit to go with it
-some gift cards for clothes
-crystal pilsner glasses & a case of beer

-tickets to the art museum

I don't think I got any worst gifts as all of them rocked however some highlights-
A SWEET Swiss Army knife from my sister's boyfriend
The lonely plannet guide to South America from my Mom
Maple Leaf garden commemorative hockey puck from my Dad

I got a Sony Cybershot camera. 7.2 megapixels, 3 X Zoom. Sweet cam. Anyone have one? Heard anything about it????

-- I got the book awhile back and wasn't too impressed. Too many first class hotels and such on there...like a hotel is a destination you must "see before you die...!"

Still, it's a good reference book to have around...you know, make sure you're not missing something when you're heading to a particular country!

I got some clothes, including some I am wearing now hehe, some glasses for the house, some tools, A Margharitta kit with glasses, salts, mix aqnd Tequilla, some money, gift certificates, sirrius satelite radio for my truck and best of all... Airline ticket to go to Myrtle Beach this winter to go celebrate my cousins 21st birthday... NICE.
