I gotta see those movies some day. I have never seen those or any of the Star Wars movies and I work with nothing but Astrophysicist's and they have been commenting about the LOTR and this thing all day. No idea what the connection is though that they are making. So I just kind blink twice and give a fake little laugh and they go on their own merry way.

My thoughts exactly... I guess he really can't be destroyed?

Just for you, Sudz... The Eye of Sauron is a firey eyeball that stands watch atop his tower, observing Sauron's (the bad guy) domain in middle earth...

This is what it looks like: (from the LOTR movies)

The Hobbits
Frodo Baggins (Frodo)
...
Samwise Gamgee (Sam)
....
Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry)
...
Peregin Took (Pippin)

The Evil Guy
Sauron

Where Sauron Dominated
Mordor

What Moria Is
Where Gimli (Orlando Bloom's dwarf friend) was looking for his long lost cousin... where theres the Balrog (see picture)

Watching the movies is fun. But then you don't actually get the names right all the time. Books are ten times better.

Absolutely. My favorite fiction series of all time. And Peter Jackson did an awesome job with them...better than I'd hoped for.
