Well,
It's Thursday at about six pm and I am leaving in 15 hours for my first backpacking trip. 4 Countries in 40 days. I am soooo stoked to go and although I didn't think I would be as the day approaches I get a little more nervous. That's ok though, it's all part of the experience for me.
I want to thank everyone on the boards for all the help and advice that I have recieved. You all seem like such wonderfull people I wish I could have the opportunity to meet each of you.
I will definately try to keep everyone updated whilst on my journey.
If there is any last advice anyone has for a novice, pppppplease feel free to add it.
My first REAL hardcore trip, and I'm sure not the last.

Thanks
D :D

Yo Dmac,

I am so stoked for ya, this will be one wicked trip for you..there will be good times and bad times, there will be fun and there will be stress, there will be great people to meet or may be someone who might take advantage of your kindness...but no matter what this is your life experience, make it what you want it to be...A time in your life that you will never forget, you will talk about to your gand kids, a time in your life that you have truley left the nest of your mother country and set foot on an adventure that will most likley stir something in you to do it again and again

My Advise: HAVE FUN!!!! </span>

<span style=\'color:blue\'>Its your time bro!

Do your best to try and keep in touch with the rest of the family here on Travelpunk.com, we all wanna hear you views on hostels and sights and cheap things to do and see, and we are always here if you run into a jam and need some advise!!!
