this really blows there are 9 states that passed a bill saying it was ok.... now the courts say no one can have it ----if your dieing you be able to have some relief.......america really blows sometimes

hey-zues! how messed up. do you know doctors are prescribing a pain drug in the form of a lolipop that is meant only for ptients dieing of cancer because it is many times stronger then morphine
they are giving it out to people with mild back sprain/strains and other injuries that do not require such a strong drug. we spend much too much time and money worrying about pot in the US.

I wonder if it is even the fact that it is marijuana that upsets people or the 40 year old stereotypes associated with it. I mean a lot of people think "pot smokers" and think of hippies all over again. More often than not I find proffesionals and people you would not assume at all to be smoking are also users.
I think the stereotype is what is holding everything back. If it were to become legal I would want to see the same laws used for alchohol used, like no driving, do it in private homes or bar type setups etc.

This is a very, very serious blow to the idea of enumerated powers. If congress can declare that interstate commerce has taken place when the activity only took place within one state then the power of Congress may be limitless.
