Okay, just for the record. While building this site, I posted a single topless photo as proof to friends that the beaches in Europe were, indeed, topless.
As search engines crawl your website, they pick up certain keywords throughout your website and store it in their database. When a user types those words in, when doing a search, the search engine instantaneously digs into their database and whips out results based on what they've got filed away.
After a year and a half of search engine robots and spiders crawling through the TravelPUNK directory, and people from all over the world clicking on the link, we have been at the top of the results or close to the top on some of these search engines on keywords having to do with topless beaches in Europe. As photos were added, more pages were crawled and stashed into the database.
Now, although I didn't purposely add those photos to gain more traffic to the site, but I did purposely try to convert that traffic into board members.
I have removed the topless forum from the boards. For anyone who was offended by that brief addition to the forums, I apologize sincerely
.
However, anyone interested in viewing them can do so by going to the homepage of this site and then clicking on the respective link.
