Super idea ! I did the same when I was studying film production in university, in order to finance our short film. My 3 fellow crew members and I participated at a quebec tv quiz, and we won $CAN 1 500 !
How much could you win ?
Best of luck !

That's awesome, bri!!
The only TV show I've been on was when I belly danced at a huuuuge party, and somehow the tape of that ended up on public access. This was about, oh, 5 years ago and every once in a while I *still* get phone calls or random statements from people telling me that they saw it.

Mm.. used to be a (non-union) actor and had to fill in the considerable gaps by doing extras work, so I've been on TV plenty of times - just not with the big payout.
I was almost unionized once by speaking a few lines a Showtime tv movie, but the damn assistant director stopped me, realizing they'd have to pay my union dues if that happened. Dammit dammit dammit. lol
I also passed the test and auditioned for Jeopardy! and kicked ass until I got to the segment on the Old Testament. I guess heathens aren't cut out for quiz shows

I was on the news when I was a baby.
Good luck! That would be so much fun.

What show is it? You have to tell us! For £2k, I reckon it has to be daytime Channel 5.

Sounds like it'll be fun! I was in the crowd of Montel Williams once on a school trip. The show sucked really bad, but I saw myself on American TV! yeah!

Last year I was on the national karaoke challenge on SBS in Australia. Got really drunk and sang the YMCA. My friends thought every note was out of tune and I don't think they televised my song because they thought I had amazing talent. The crowd loved it.
Still living that one down.
Didn't win any money.

I was on MTV before. My senior year at Penn State i was on MTV's "How to Live Like A College Student." It was me, a male cheerleader kid Mike, and this theater girl. Yeah, it was some messed up junk. I broke up with my girlfriend during filming. so that was sweet.
It was definitely my 15 minutes of fame so i lived it up, basically for the next week people bought me shots. The best part was doing keg stands with the producers and camera guys from mtv in my back yard.
