If I think about this I'll cry.
Bush needs to be in my Radical Political Thought class...but he'd probably think Plato was Pluto and get excited about Disney movies. Whatever happened to the common good.

I just hope Bush doesn't ask Canada for some of our resources... I like trees.
I also hope they have some kind of replanting system in mind to restore what they're using up.

Are you serious? Bush has ALWAYS been an "environmental Hitler." This is no surprise. Even when he was just governor of Texas - Houston surpassed L.A. to become the #1 SMOG capital of the US!!! He is bought & paid for by the power industries. Same 'ol Dubya here...nothing new.
I'm a member of several environmental activist groups and they have been on non-stop red alert for his entire adminstration! He is environmental enemy #1 to them! :greenguy:

Yes they will replant all the trees they harvest. Every foresty company does, its enivornmentally freindly and they can harvest those treesin 30-60 years if need be. But they will be replanted.

If you don't mind me asking, which groups are you a member of? I have been curious in finding groups in my area but never really looked that deep into it. My main deals are the forest and water (Ocean, lakes, ponds, whatever) and was curious about how you picked which groups you were a member of or what you guys did as a group?

It's too bad 30-60 years kind of SUCKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!! At the rate ppl want to consume trees we will have nothing left but babes that are fine for producing oxygen (although they still dont produce nearly enough) and along the way will have killed of TONS of animal's habitats

Assuming you are refering to logging roads, logging roads aren't ashpalt but dirt roads.
Every thing that we live and breathe today is because forests were torn down and your nieghbor was created. I don't know why Bush would ok the use of Alaskan National Forests, I don't know the argument for it and therefore can not be against it. I can't disagree with an idea if i've never heard it.

dont argue with tadpole. he wants to be a tree farmer him self. there are enviormentaly safe ways to harvest tres. our uncle is a tree farmer. its a very delecate process, you harvest an area, leave it fallow for a while then plant over it. in ten years your able to harvest the same area and start over. its the same thing as growing cotton, or corn excpet trees are slower. please dont get angry at me. im harmless
