Hey guys as travellers Im guessing many people have desktop backgrounds of the places they have been to. So I was just wondering which place is set as your background - you know your slaving away at work and would rather be there so you gaze and dream while looking at your desktop...
I was in snow capped mountains of Norway but now Im on an island off the west coast of Malaysia:

before my hardrive exploded my screen saver was a collection of all my pictures including ones of my friends and trips and stuff... but my background is always either a wave or snowboarding or surfing or something along that line.

Actually, right now, my background picture is the group photo from My Pi when I was in Chicago before Christmas. It's that hopeful reminder that this is going to be a hell of a year.

Hey, those are cool, Carter. Is that one by Joni Mitchell the folk-singer? Wow, she's also a good painter, if so!

yeah, that would be the same Joni Mitchell. Her paintings and drawings are pretty sought after, obviously I'm not loaded enough to afford any originals but I do have a coffee table book full of prints of some of her more famous works, some pretty cool stuff in there.

Mine changes on weekly basis...alot of nine inch nails & tool related stuff.
Of course @ work its a bit more tame...
I try not to put my travelling pictures up as background at work...people start asking too many questions & it gets annoying

This has been my background for about a year now. I don't change them very often

Skorch - What catacombs is that pic from. I was in the ones in paris; i felt bad about taking pictures down there.
I have two that i flip between, one is a cliche louvre pic that i took. Some of my friends i showed it to "borrowed" it for their background. The other one is of the only fountain in Pskov, Russia (tiny town near slovakia). I was there on a homestay for a few weeks. Just the way it looks on the computer is awesome; for some reason it only looks ok in 4X6 format.
