Yeah, so I am yet another step closer to being an Illinois resident of North Chicago. I have a testing appointment on Tuesday, Jan 4th in Lincolnshire, IL working for Hewitt (sp) fielding calls answering employee questions about their health and retirement beneifts. If I pass the testing I go back for an interview on the 12th. After that I will begin a 5 week paid training course. So now I have to find a place to stay if I get the job I s'pose. (any takers for a temp roommate or ideas? ) I don't feel it now, but the anitcipation of actually moving out of state is kind of staggering. I have never lived farther than 15 miles from Detroit. But I have been looking for places to live, although it will probably take me a couple weeks to afford a place on my own. Oye.

I also have apps in with Potbelly and Starbucks for management. I feel good about this, I think 2005 will be a good year.

Also I am finally getting my unemployment. Yay! So that will be helpful.

hah. The funny part is, took me a few minutes to understand what you were talking about. hehehe. No fear of that anyway, I talk sex when I drink but I really dont like any real advances. Stands me in good stead. Really terrible of me actually.

What're you doing in AZ? Everyone I know seems to be going to AZ or London. Or in your case, both..

Family deal, flying out picking some stuff up and driving it back cross country. So in 3 1/2 hours when i get picked up to the airport will start about 90 hours of action packed loading and driving.

Yeah...booze on tranatlantic or pacific flights tend to be free. Of course, on easyjet, NOTHING is free...not soft drinks, water...and I swear they were watching your oxygen intake...!

Good luck, bellelass! And drive safe, Siju!

You know....I think the U.S. airlines are cutting back on free booze on transatlantic flights. My friend recently flew American from Boston to London Heathrow and alcohol was not free. It was free on my Lufthansa flight, though (and the flight attendants are far more attractive...and not due to the drinks). So the motto is...fly a European airline.

Good luck Sij and Belle....give 'em hell!!

Here's to 2005!!! WOO HOO.

I just got back from Pheonix and it was so nice there. It was cool to be able to go from the palm tree lined streets of pheonix and within 3 hours be up in the hills where it was cool and snow was on the ground. The whole trip went great. overall covered about 1850 miles in about 36 hours of driving. Good to be home.

Happy New Year, y'all.

Well I have been out job hunting all year. I have an interview in Chicago with Hewitt probably on the 19th. This is thus far the most promising position. I had an interview with Rite Aid yesterday, but all they were gonna offer me was my old position with a small raise and the possibility of potential to be promoted in 6 months. Because as the District Manager told me, "It just doesn't make good business sense to hire someone that used to work for the company and promote them." Strange but true. I always thought that if you could hire someone that knew the company inside and out that that would be an advantage cause you didn't have to worry about training them for months than putting them in a store for them to screw things up. Oh well... I guess he isn't interested in filling those 7 holes in his stores too quickly. So because I wanted to wait for the offer it was a take it or bust offer today. So it went bust. I see no point taking a job just to quit in two weeks... should i put my notice in today?

So Chicago here I come.... I guess I need an apartment don't I? Anyone know anyone that needs a roommate?
