im being serious guys! If anyone knows anything about computers i really need there help cos im stuck out here with n brother to turn to to fix my technical things!!!

My laptop has gone CRAZY everything has gone big and all the pictures have gone distorted .....does anyone know what to do i been fiddling for 4 hours now

I'm assuming this is a Windows system... your resolution probably got set to the wrong size somehow. Right-click on your desktop and select "Properties." Click the last tab, which is "Settings" and select a different screen resolution.

It's also possible that your system came up in "Safe Mode," in which case, I'm not sure exactly what you do, other than reboot the thing.. I know there's something involved in the middle there that a techy here can help you out with.

If it's a Mac, under Mac OS X, go to your System Preferences, select "Display" and change your resolution. (Or if you have a little screen thingy on your menubar, then you can select a better resolution from there.)

heh omi the only screen res that i can get is 640 x 480 and that thing isnt being dragged or changed anywhere OH IM GONNA CRY

Hmm..d unno what to say - 640x480 is miserable. I rarely work w/ PCs anymore, so I don't have much more to say on it. On my old laptop, I used to have to reboot the fucker and hit F3 or whatnot to go into setup before Windows started and go through the diagnostic and all that...

it sounds like it's stuck in safe mode. When the computer is booting up, I think you hold down the f8 key til the menu pops up-- then pick whichever is the "regular" setting. Sorry, I don't remember more than that! I hope you fix it though!
