So last night I went to play hold 'em with guy from work and a bunch of other people. I have never ever gambled in my life, so I was really expecting to go out in the first 20 minutes or so.. and I almost did. Ten dollar buy in with 9 people, so 1st place got fifty bucks, then thirty, then ten. I played and played, betting on random shit in my hand, making people fold... Then whenever someone called me I would actually have something.. So, I ended up winning 50 dollars from all these guys I dont even know. The next to last person was pretty steamed, especially when I would forget to look at my hand and just throw down some change.. And I was drinking pretty steadily.. heh.. losing to a chick, a noob, and a drinker must not feel too great.. I'm still pretty excited about it..

Rawk on! I played hold'em for the first time a few months ago for the first time and cleaned out my friends. Who knows, maybe it's just beginners luck - that's how they rope ya in!

haha, good job! I am terrible at almost every type of gambling, with the exception of having an uncanny knack for picking winners at the track. I've even picked many exactas-- but for some reason, every single time I bet, I lose. If I don't bet, my guess is usually right. (The horse track, not the dog track.)
