Pardon the stupidity of this idea, but after a bottle of wine, some espressos, and too much sugar, it sounds cool to me:

Ok, you know how at the end of soccer games, the members of opposing teams trade jerseys, right?

What if backpackers did the same? I mean, I have a bunch of what I'd consider throw-away shirts like "In N Out Burger - California" or "Gold's Gym USA," etc. that would probably be kitschy and cool for somene from _____. And you, being from _____ probably have some lame t-shirt from a business in ______ that you think is kind of useless but would be gold to someone like me.

Ya get what I'm saying? So let's say as part of your packing list, you take some t-shirts that are uniquely from your area (not tourist shop stuff), you could trade with your new friends for t-shirts from their area.

I know it sounds kinda dumb, but maybe we could start a new trend? Crap, I better lay off the wine.

I had something like that kinda happen. Someone swiped my hoodie when I was traveling (fcuker! I'll find you!!!). So I was sweatshirtless for a little bit. A guy in my dorm left a sweater behind, so I took it. Now I have a sweater.

........

does that fit in?

Alas, no one's stole my hoodie as yet *g* but I think the shirt-swapping thing is an ace idea! In NY I got a bright orange funrun tshirt [christ knows who wore it first *doesn't think about it*] and it's my favourite shirt now. I love the questions, like 'what the hell is that' - and the worse colours, the better! [Currently searching for something in lime green as we speak... ;D]

To sum up! XD BEST.IDEA.EVER. :P

*g* Hi Rozza - the av is cropped, some model wearing AMAZING jewellery that I lust after & covet for my own. Alas, I've lost the full-sized pic! It's a ... Metally-thing, with thumb&pinky bands and a sun on it.

... I'll stop rambling about pretty things now.

Ya know, I'm no gay hobo, but I'm not opposed to wearing pink. It's in for guys this season

(For the record, I have some pink sunglasses and pink Pumas, but - as often as it's been suggested - don't dig on weiners.)

I don't know about *trading* undergarments ('cause let's be honest, girls-- how often have you coveted a dude's drawers that he's been traveling in for god knows how long? yeah, thought so.) But I'm sure there are lots of guys who have walked away with a pair of panties or two.

Im starting to laugh at the hoodie incident now. When I first got back I was a little bit bitter about the whole thing, but now b/c its so hot here the last thing I want to think about is a hoodie. I'd rather have a sweater stolen then say my camera, so I'm counting myself lucky.

Roz - the sweater I have now is alright. It doesn't match up to my hoodie...but oh well.

note to self: follow pikushi, following rozza, following omisan in order to obtain awesome freaky-ass pink barbie hoodie...
