Just 4 days ago, i went to turn my computer on for my daily sneak around the TP boards, but instead of looking at my cheery desktop, what do i get instead... An error message unlike nothing i have ever seen. After trying everything known to myself to get my pc started, i decided to give in, and run it down to the local computer store in town for a look at.

It was decided that my harddrive (after only 18mths of service) had had the dick and fallen over, and whilst it was partitioned, and some of the stuff had been saved, the majority of the planning for my trip had been lost to an unforgiving harddrive. Hundreds of bookmarks, notes, itineries, city information and lists had been lost.

I was destroyed. And not only that, but i was stung $200 to get things right. So, thats how i spend my saturday. 10hrs of formatting and loading software on to my new harddisk.

And now, with only 3 weeks till i leave for my travels, ive focked up my lower back. Cant stand for very long before i feel like im going to pass out, and bending and other akward positions cause me great stress.

So, im off to the physio tomorrow to see if i can get something worked out b4 i leave.

Some things just have the worst timing its unbelievable.

But it will take more than all this to break the spirit of this little bloke...

Get your game on ppls, its time to make a change.

Laaate...

Sorry to hear that Ozpack. Bad luck does seem to run in streaks. I went out the other morning to go to work, open my car door, to look inside and see wires dangling. My stereo had been ripped off for the second time in 6 months. The last time it happened, I got a speeding ticket in the rental car I was driving while my car was repaired -- I'd never had a speeding ticket in more than two decades of driving!

Hope things turn upwards soon...

Let's just hope you're using up your bad luck before your trip!
