Default need travel inspiration.....

Hi guys

So im back in england now working my butt off again and have started taking holidays at the end of pretty much every month. Ive only had 1 so far (Edinburgh) but my next one is coming up end of September and im lacking inspiration.

I know I would love to go to Egypt but im keeping that probably for December.

Any ideas for a week holiday? Im not looking for anything specific, just a place to get away from it all.

Thanks!

maybe Cardiff or somewhere in Southern Wales as its nice-Ireland as well maybe? Or if you're looking for something a litte different try the continent.

I've always wanted to go to morrocco and wander around the markets and smell the spices!

I would go whereever the weather is going to be nicest!! But that may be because its cold and yuck here.

Oooh, Iceland could be pretty cool. I think Morocco is also a great option. Any Alps action would also be awesome - it's a great time for hiking.

Haha, I'm in the exact same situation, except I can only go at weekends at the moment.

I already have flights to Istanbul booked for September. For October I'm considering Madeira (a Portuguese island) as there are cheap flights on Easyjet. Then in November I'm going to Skegness (going with friends on that one, most of my friends are not organised enough to go abroad). I also want to try to Eurostar to Paris and/or Brugge at some point, it's a bit more expensive than flying but would be interesting.

I vote for Normandy, but im a History student so it may just be more interesting for me.
The city of Bayeux in France is my second home. Its a small town with really nice people, and close to just about every Normandy d day event that happened. And the cider, oh i could drink that hard cider all day and all night.

If you want to remain local, the options are, Scotland around Fort William up to John O Groats and the Isle of Skye. The mountain range around Ben Nevis is not too dissimilar to Pategonia (Torres Del Paine) region. Obviously not as dramatic but you will appreciate what you have on your doorstep. Wales is also nice. If you want beaches there is no place like Cornwall. You will be surprised at the quality of the beaches there, although around end of September gets quite chilli there. There is also the Eden project which is a nice day trip along with Lands End, Sennon Beach / Cove is beautiful. A lot of good National Heritage stuff like St Michaels Mount around there also. You will be surprised at the charms Great Britain has to offer.

Summer is the season we indulge all the senses. Feel the warm air in our skin, the smell of fresh cut grass and barbecue, the sound of the ice cream truck that we can remember our childhood. In addition to the memory of the new opportunities and create new memories of feeling, will be fully present in the moment.

Iceland is very cheap to go to. I am travelling all the way from Kansas, USA July 17th through the 24th. It was one of the cheapest international trips I have ever booked.
