Well folks, my house sale closed yesturday, and I got a check in my hand for $$$30,665.00...I really did not wanna give it up, man that was hard..

BUT...

I went to the bank last night and paid off my line of credit and my credit card...and still have money left over to cover the closing costs of my new house in June. What a weight this is off my shoulders...I am so happpy!!!

Now every cent I make can go into savings to help pay down the morgage on my new place, and cover my trip to Las Vegas in May, and my trip to the Middle East in Sept...

Now all i need is high speed internet...

Congrats C-Dude... you're my idol... I too hope to be debt free soon. I am going back to my old job in May, and looking for a second job. Then I will rolling in the cash to pay off debts... Save a while and Europe here I come.

good job CD!

looks like you have a good plan going on. Good luck with vegas hope you hit a jackpot when you go to vegas.

It sure is great to be debt free. Maybe you can look into putting money into a MF(mutual fund) or start an emergency account.
