So I'm graduating from school with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 3 months so I have been looking for a job........... On friday I got a job offer to be a designer with a major automotive manufacturer!!!
But thats not what I'm posting to tell you. The AMAZING part is that they went along with my request to not start work untill the end of August. Since I'm graduating in June 12 and I don't start work untill August 23, at the earliest, I have about 10 weeks off. The icing on the cake is that my signing/relocation allowance is big enough for me to travel around Europe for most of that 10 weeks.
I just thought I would let you know that I'm THRILLED about it. Some of my friends apppreciate the significance of this situation but I'm sure all of you guys/girls will know how big this is for me.
TIME TO START PLANNING and buying tickets..........or maybe I should call them back first to accept the job before I start spending money they havent given me yet.
