Happy New Year all.

My NYE was an absolute scorcher. I was at a music festival and it reached 41.1 degrees Celsius (106 degrees f) and they ran out of ice so those was barely a cold drink to be found. Good fun though.

Happy belated NYD

I rang in 2008 with a clogged nose in a local bar in El Paso standing in front of a women's bathroom which was honestly the worst smelling restroom I have come across and I only got that whiff when the door would open occasionally.

does wrangling your 250 lb 6'3'' brother thought the streets of London, while hes's drunk as hell and you've sobered up after he started arguing with a bobby about where he can drink get me in the running?

Mike & I had a quiet dinner @ home then went to BOB's BAR (love that place!) for a few beers. They even gave us a champagne toast at midnight. I got more than a little tipsy on one of my world tour beers - Hebrew Lenny's R.I.P.A. - a 20oz bottle and 10% alcohol content  . Good thing Mike was driving! Jamie, you'd LOVE that beer, one of the smoothest IPAs I've had.

New years eve I drove up to the Grand Canyon and played tour guide to some out-of-towners. Then we got stuck in traffic on the way to Sedona and the Red Rocks. So after 600 miles of driving and 13 hours of being in the car, I then headed out to a buddies house to ring in the new year and then went home and crashed out around 12:30.

It was a fun day but by the end of it I felt like my head was swaying involuntarily!

Happy New Years!

I celebrated on the beach in Arica, Chille. Now, on my long way home...
