I must be getting old...now when I check out guys I look for a wedding ring. When did that happen? What made you realize that you are now only "young ..... at heart"?

I had to start doing that in college-- But in the last couple of years I got out of the habit-- probably because I'm still young enough to date college girls.

There were a LOT of mormons at my University. yech.

lindoro - i think he prays for a ring of immorality on girls...

funny - i almost made the same post, dreamsinred.

the other day we had a luncheon here at work (greek food!) and the delivery guy was really cute, i noticed he had a ring on his finger... i still thought he was cute. then i forgot him - then my boss made some comment about him later in the afternoon - i said: he was pretty damn cute, she said - did you see he had a ring on his finger, i said: yeah, i did.

then it hit me... i actually noticed he had a ring on his finger...at 23, i'm already getting old...

As sad as it is, here at almost 24, one of the first things I do when I see a girl is look for the ring. Sad thing is, I feel like I am in the minority.

Hey DreamsinRed-

Cool name. Are you a PJ fan or am I way off base? As far as getting older, its when you get to the point that you STOP looking for rings that you need to worry...

Calling just about every friend up to see if they want to hang out:
-Eh......lemme check with the wife
-Eh......the kid is sick, etc... etc....

Getting more wedding invitations than junk mail

Hangovers aren't something you deal with in the morning but for the entire day.......or days.....

Realizing that people born in 1986 can vote

Realizing these people were 10 when I first voted

10 year high school reunion approaching quickly

I could go on and on but I won't. It's only a reminder of things I try not to think much about (but typically do).

Last nighti was talking to this one dude and for some reason the lyrics to Cheers came into the conversation.....and he didn't know them!!!! Turns out the wee lad was only 19!!!! Now I only date guys if they can still remember what pop cans used to look like, they can tell me what kind of car the General Lee was and what sport did Sam Malone used to play.

Air Wolf, the A team, Nightrider, Heman, C.H.I.P.S., Transformers...anyone wanna add one?

~ LFoD, good call on the PJ!

I must be old before my time... cause I know all of those. But I'm still amazed that my 5 year is soon, and that my younger family members are already graduating, and that almost everyone I know is getting married (or trying to convince me to get married). Whats happening to the world?!

How about Mayday Malone's team and POSITION?

Okay, some fine shows from back in the day...how about the ones highlighting my two favorite Heathers from my adolescent fantasy days...TJ Hooker (Locklear) and the Fall Guy (Thomas). Don't forget those fine Kroft Superstar shows on Saturday mornings like Land of the Lost and Sigmund and the Seamonsters.

Okay, I m done with this thread I am too depressed.

Speaking of the Cheers lyrics, I feel so old when I think of something and these youngins have no clue what I am talking about. Sad thing is, is I remember things from before my day, and kids now-a-days should even more with TV stations like TV Land and FX and NIck @ Nite... the syndication of a lot of shows is ridiculous. But alas, I am getting old....

WHAT?!? I CAN'T HEAR YOU, MY HIP REPLACEMENT CAUSED MY HEARING AID TO FALL OUT!! WHERE ARE MY TEETH?? I REMEMBER WHEN POLITICIANS WERE HONEST AND KIDS HAD RESPECT. YOUNG WHIPPER SNAPPERS

Ok enough being old for today... where are the 18 year old girls at?!?

I thin adn say these thing every day!! My frinds are all married, getting married, and have or are having kids. Crazy!!!! And hear i am still in college and not sure what i want to do with my life!! Then you wonder if you should be married and you hear your friends talk about the last fight they had and you remember why you are not married yet!!! And you think that it really is a wonderful thing because you have all the time in the world and they don't!!!
