Tomorrow I'm joining in the community yard sale... Hopefully I can sell some of my shiat, so I can acquire some additional funds for my trip.

Car is loaded up, I'm loaded up (with wine), prices have been marked.....I should be good to go.

I plan on rolling out of bed at 6:30. On a Saturday.

Good luck with the sale!! I've got a LOT of crap in my basement I need to get rid of (just ask Mike) but I can't seem to get around to parting with it.

ONE OF THESE DAYS! I'll probably just donate it all - at least the stuff that doesn't belong to a sister or two.

The name change:

I'm moving from DC...so, I'm not gonna be KindraDC anymore. I wanted something a little more conspicuous and a bit more creative. Hope it isn't too confusing for everyone!

Update on the yard sale:

I sold some crap. Made $90. Eh...woulda been nice to sell more of my little odds n' ends, but...I feel like it was a successful day. The people watching was great..heheheh....and, I sat and chatted with my visiting Mom and her hubby.
I killed two birds with one stone!

I guess as long as you had fun then that's good. The extra cash from the sales myst be nice too. I find that with such sales a LOT depends on the weather - if it's a beautiful day then you can sell just about anything and if it's cold or overcast then the people just don't show

Between craigslist and my the yard sale yesterday....I've made just over $500! Not bad....

And, I've got hella more stuff on craigslist that people are starting to email me about.

Must admit, kinda feels weird to be selling all my stuff.

Julia...hehehe. Actually.. Sabrosa relates more to my salsa sabor than it does to latin men...but, either way...I guess it's all the same.

In bocca al lupo, la mia amica Sabrosa! I know, it's Italian -- not Spanish. But it basically means good luck on the eve of your big adventure/undertaking. Keep us posted, or I'll fly down to S.A. and find your butt and get the story out of you...!

Oh, and give my regards to "Ramon"...
