Germany, Wheres this place in Frankfurt
Ok, so one of my friends just told me of a place she was told to go to while in Frankfurt, and she LOVED it.... But doesn't know the name. It was a square, the streets were all brick, and it was supposedly the square that all the locals hung at etc... She did say that it was one of the only areas of Frankfurt she saw with cobblestone streets. Anyone got a clue?

Thanks guys! I'm gonna get up with my friend this week and show her some pics I googled from the suggestions, and see if she recognizes it. Looks like Roxy and I will be through there for a day or so, and thought it would be nice to have a less touristy place to see since we will have such short time.
Cheers
Marc

Yes, probably the Marktplatz you're talking about. It's the central hangout of all German cities. In Frankfurt, its near the Main river . . . I'm forgetting which side. Follow signs to Stadtmitte, or Mitte, or just ask for the Marktplatz. Easy . . . "Wo ist der Marktplatz?," and watch the hand point.
Although Frankfurt itself isn't super touristy, this square is probably the most touristy part of Frankfurt.
