I will be in Rome April 1 through 4th and was wondering if
their is any way I can watch the final four there. Does
anyone have a recommendation on catching the final four
at a pub or hotel. Thanks for any help!

see man cause the final four IS in Indianapolis so there's the humor "buddy"

Hope you find a place that will be airing the games at 2:00 in the morning in Rome that will put up with your bad attitude and lack of a sense of humor... Good luck with that let us know how it works out...

You might want to try the American Embassy. They might hold social events for over seas citizens. Canada House in London does those, my sister goes to them about once a month. Worth a try? Other than that, start calling American hotels.

Hrmm.. I'm gonna have to find the same info for London, or at least find out if there's a satellite channel there showing it. Need to see my Bruins win it all!

In doing my own research on where to watch the Final Four in Europe, I ran into NASN (North American Sports Network). Apparently, they'll be televising the stuff live. The Continental Europe site is here: http://nasneurope.com/

Somewhere in there, they have a listing of bars/hotels/etc. that have NASN.

(i.e. for the UK, it's http://www.nasn.com/content/nasn/cms.nsf/s...tent/nasnvenues )

Anyway.....

Yeah when I was in Europe toward the end of the trip the NFL season began so I wanted to watch the games... I ended up having to watch them on the internet..... pretty crappy since it just showed a dot on a drawing of the field of the position of the ball.

I also looked up the NASN but I could never find a place that had it... the only time I ever found it was in Amasterdam at this little bar.... and I didn't really care too much about what was on....
Omid have you been to the NASN site? cause it shows a list of alot of the bars and hotels that have it in london. Also Jeffro"chill" I looked at the site and it does not have any listings for rome.... but my guess is that since it is a fairly big event it may be on another channel besides NASN in Rome your chances are pretty good these days with all the sattelite providers and cable companies...

Yup.. I've actually emailed all the bars within reasonable distance to see if anyone's going to stay open to show it. The UCLA/LSU showdown doesn't start 'til 2am GMT, and the latest one (Sports Cafe in Piccadilly) is usually only open 'til 3... maybe they'll extend their hours

The place I'm staying (*gasp* not a hostel) has Sky satellite TV, so I might be able to get it there, but somehow I'm not counting on it... Another option is the Belushi's chain of bars, which is affilliated with the St. Christopher's hostel chain, so maybe I should book Sat. night at St. Chris'. Hhaha.. how desperate!

I'm in Amsterdam now, my hotel has ESPN America, and they are doing the live coverage. I couldnt find any listing online of bars showing the game tonight, but I am guessing that some will be showing it. I am staying at the Hotel Pulitzer, the guy at the bar said they will put it on for me, they are only open until 01, and that should be just long enough...
