I'll be in A-dam around the mid of May..any T-punkers around that time?
1)Also, looking for night clubs in the down town areas which are rich in HBs (hot babes) I am not too sure if I would go to the RLD
2)Also can I leave my luggage at the hostels during the day, is it safe or did I just ask a dumb-ass question.
3) How easy is a street pick up or hooking up with girls at hostels?

Night clubs: Melkweg is a good live venue that has some big club nights. Hotel Arena has some huge club nights and has a cool atmosphere as it's in an old church. To party with hip locals, check out the Winston on Warmoesstrat, just south of the RLD. There are tons of other places... check out this listing: http://www.amsterdamhotspots.nl/club.html

Luggage: Of course it's safe to leave it at the hostel - you don't expect to carry it everywhere, do you? Many hostels provide lockers (byo lock or provided, but best to have one with you) - the popular Flying Pig has 'em under the bunks and they'll hold a decent sized backpack and then some.

Hooking up: You're on your own, kid. Your likelihood of hooking up is as high/low as anywhere else in the world full of young, partying backpackers... Careful on the street, though.

Hook ups are pretty Simple in AMSTERDAM all it takes is 50 Euro

Also I will be travelling alone and planning on getting high. I have never done pot so its going to be quite an experience

Rainy. It's always f'in rainy.

Actually, there'll probably be a lot of periods of beautiful sunshine, but at all times, you should be prepared for a sudden downpour. It just happens... and it's actually pretty cool unless you get caught unawares. I had a very soggy, drunken walk back to the hostel one night and thought I was going to get sick as hell, whereas on another day, it was a nice cool-down after getting all hot and sweaty running around the city like a mad tourist.

They sell little brollys at night just for such an occasion, I have mine with me here at work.

Jones since you have anice clean system you should do the vaporiser, buy a bit of hash and tell them you want it vaporised and they bring you down a big ballon full of hashy goodness. It's totaly healty because it's not smoke, it's has nothing but a sweet taste when you inhale no choking. You get some wack of it aswell.

Good Luck! I'd try the solid first, in a small pipe. I wouldnt start with the strong stuff (skunk), and i certainly wouldnt have any beers with it......
But hey, its your holiday.....ENJOY!

The pot/hash in A-dam is INCREDIBLE. I went there twice last year and had an excellent time.

Also: Van Gogh Museum is nice, Heineken tour (3 beers for 10 euro and a free glass!), and Anne Frank House if you read the book.

I plan to visit there from like a wednesday to a Sat. On those lines could you guys ball park how much $$ I would need to eat sleep and visit all places comfortably. i am working on my budget. Also I love good foreign food and a club person.

I've read that it varies, often depending on how often you indulge in cannabis. After a quick (albeit unofficial) search of some internet FAQ sites and message boards, the consensus seems to be that pot could be undetectable as of a week or two if you have only done it the one time (or for the first time in a long long time i.e. a few years) but if you habitually smoke, even once every few weeks, it could be detectable through a urine test for up to three months, maybe more. I don't know how reliable all of the info I've seen has been. But this site seems to be alright:

Bob's hostel is very nice and cost 19 euro per night for a dorm bed (which is all you need cos you will pass out every night). Beers at their bar are 1,20 euro for Heineken cans and you can always get you own and the nearby grocery. Flying Pig is a bit nice but costs a bit more as well. I will use Bobs from now on.

Plan to spend at least 50 euros a night if you go out and party. Less if you pre-drink/smoke and just have a couple while out.

Ya, a few shots a wiskey is what ya want dash of coke a cola, sugar helps when you feel a whitey coming on.

Hash can be allot stronger than skunk, it's almost like refined grass so you get a much better wack off it. I think afgan is some of the best.

Trust me, try the hashish first, build up to the skunk. But hey, just ask the guy who is selling it to you, they look after their customers over there!!!!!
And have an effing brilliant time for me. I have to wait for three weeks before i escape my silly country. and i have to wait for the summer before i can be away for a long lone time. ENJOY IT>

I wish I was on the wacky backy but I've cut it out mostly so I can really enjoy it when I do smoke instead of being in a stupor all the time.

Hash is the strongest (other than resin or oil) form of Marachuan you can have. Maybe your thinking of soapbar which is not hash it's just muck.

I think I would save around 400 US $ for the stay which should cover boarding food, hash, clubs and museum visits when I stay from Thurs through Sat night.

Fair enough meturk, but not in my experience. But lets just agree to disagree, apart from on the issue of soap bar, which you rightly describe as muck.

All i say to you Indiana is just ask the dudes in the shop. They will have just what you're looking for........and also......are you really sure you want to go to a museum? Shit man, your on holiday!
