Ireland... March 06

Hi there, Punks. I'm currently backpacking in Europe (Scotland at the moment) and will be going to Ireland next month for a few weeks. I'll be in Dublin for a couple days before I go to Kilkenny for St. Patrick's Day. My general path will be Dublin --> Kilkenny --> Galway --> Dublin (and fly out). If you want, throw out some suggests of other towns to stop in. I've got plenty of time. Thanks!

From Dublin we went north to Drogheda and Dundalk. Both very cute little towns. I can't say there was anything amazingly impressive, but they were nice to hang out in, more locals/less tourist and most everyone was very friendly! I'd hoped to make it further north from Galway as it seems beautiful, but never did. By the way, we had Kilkenny beer in some pub and the guy told us "only tourists drink that stuff."

Well if you head up north you can see the giants causway over in the west there's anywhere in Connemara like westport or lettergeash, Galway is the best little city in Ireland then there's Tuam it was the seat of the last high king of Ireland (although there's nothing to see there really).
