hi all, im still pretty new here but all the info you guys give is grrreat.
anyways, ive read a bunch of posts about spending the night at gatwick before an early am flight, im wondering if anyone has done this at stansted in london? i have a 7:50 flight, and would love to save the hostel money for a couple pints in belfast. let me know how crazy the idea is AC |
It may not be necessary to actually spend the night. Just party til the wee hours and catch whatever coach/train will get you there within an hour or hour and a half of your flight. :)

great idea space virgin....
by the way, when does this all take place? |
thanks guys. sounds like a good idea SV
im flying into belfast the morning of march 6th and spending a few days with friends. then off to rome! if i was going to be a good girl, do you think they'd have any problems with me crashing in their airport? :hypocrite: |
i stayed in stansted airport over night. and there werre hundreds fo people doing the same thing. some had sleeping bags out and everthing. wont get much sleep tho
|
thanks bassgirl. i figured i wouldnt be the only one, but thought i would check.
|
i think they'll let you sleep there whether you're good or bad LOL

I've stayed overnight at Frankfurt International. I planned to stay awake all night before my 7:30 am flight, then sleep the 8 hours back home, waking up at 10:30 local time, but that didn't work. Anyway, I saw lots of people sleeping at the airport and also enough airport staff to notice if there were any security problems (some of them were riding bikes around the almost-empty check-in area), but I ended up meeting a couple of guys doing the exact same thing as me and taking the same flight, so we just hung out all night talking, goofing off, browsing at the duty-free shop and generally wasting time.
