Hey, a bunch of friends are taking a 10 day trip with me in london and paris, any idea on what the legal tatooing age is in both? and if so, any reputable tatoo parlours in Paris or London? Looking for a little spring break memory.

I only know people who got tattoos in Spain. They were 16 and 17 but didnt have any trouble. One of them got piercings also.

Ok here in the UK its 16 with an adults permission and 18 years without. Make sure that you go to what a reputable tatooist ( i nearly typed dealer here). If the place doesnt look clean, dont get one etc
Im sure you will use your common sense in this matter

As a person with a wee bit o' ink, I'd suggest not getting it done in a foreign country, for several reasons...
1. You don't know the rep of the artist.
2. If you need it touched up, it could become a PITA.
3. Health and safety regs are different from place to place.
4. The language barrier- you're getting something VERY permanent.
Ultimately unless your artist is a world-famous inker, I'd get it done when you get back. But then again, I take my ink VERY seriously.
