i'm in siena at the moment and i am heading to Rome tomorrow...we are leaving rome on the 8th as early as possible in hopes of getting to brindisi and on the ferry to corfu before the day is over. My question is..how late do the ferries run? and how long does the ferry take?? if we booked to hostel for the 9th....is it possible for us to make it???' thank you in advance

Hey I hope that helps a little... I did the Venice to Corfu ferry and it was COLD at night... and took 24 hours.. I'm pretty sure yours will be better. |
http://www.greekferries.gr/international.htm and then click on the logos next to the brindisi-corfu line. sounds like 2200hrs or 0045, but my recollection with greek ferries were that there were never on schedule. like, they would come and go whenever the hell they showed up/departed. urban myth: some dude pissed off some other dude (drunk, rowdy, 4am) and got his backpack chucked over the side. moral: don't piss people off... no point. |
