Hi all! I'll be going to York for 2.5 days this November. Will spend 1.5 day exploring the city area, is it enough? Any suggestions to spend the remaining 1 day? And how will be the weather be like in Nov? Thanks in advance!

the weather will be cold in november (if your coming from a warm country say, but if your coming from a cold country you should be fine) and will probably rain (i dont live far away from york) take some mittens and a scarf and some waterproof shoes. York is a lovely place very historic 1.5 days should be enough have you found any info out about it already?

hi beergal! thanks for the reply! :D
I'll be spending 2.5 days in York. Will explore the city area for 1.5 days and taking the coach to Whitby for the remaining 1 day. Anyone visited Whitby before? Is there any website which has lots of info on Whitby? Tried a search on the internet but can't seem to find a good one.
This is what I've planned for the city tour:

Day 1 – 2nd Nov, Wed (after 11am)
Mansion House > Guildhall > Lunch in Roman Baths Inn > St Helen Square > St Wilfrid's Church > St. Mary's Abbey > City Walls

Day 2 – 3rd Nov, Thurs
York Castle Museum > Clifford's Tower > The Shambles > Newgate Market > York Minster > Ghost Walk

Anyone heard of the Ice House in York? It was shown on a map I found. But i couldn't find it online.
How long do I need to explore the whole of York Minster? Pls advice. Thanks!
