Edinburgh to Luton, Greece to Spain

Hey all,

I'm seeking advice on a couple issues...

1. Cheapest and best way to get from Edinburgh to Luton Airport, I have a full day basically to do it

2. I noticed (or maybe I'm mistaken) that neither RyanAir or EasyJet fly from Athens to Barcelona directly. I am contemplating a ferry from Greece/Italy to Spain, or to do this connection flying via Germany. Is the ferry option crazy expensive/long?

Edinburgh to Luton probaly best using easyjet they start at about 12.99 which is cheeper than the train and alot quicker. you wil have to book in advance.

Thanks... I thought that might be a good option. It's crazy flying so much for so cheap - Gaia's not gonna like the new age backpacker in coming years

The trains here are good but it would take ages, because that is a very long run. you could take a coach that would be cheep but take even longer than the train and would probaly be about the same cost as a flight, although if you have the time i would encourage you to visit another city in the UK on the way.

Ya... I would've liked to see more of the UK, but I am definitely looking forward to the tour of Northern Ireland and Scotland I'm doing. I was planning on living in Edinburgh for the summer originally.... but now I'm meeting my brother who's coming overseas and we're doing Italy, Greece and Spain... gonna be a rowdy summer
