Okay, I am studying in Newcastle England this coming winter. My plan is to see Europe on winter break, (I will be in Newcastle only the Fall term.) 1. Do I need to buy a rail pass in the states? 2. Any thoughts on Europe in December-January.
I would say its safe to say you can get your eurorail pass there. As far a suggestions of what to do...Christmas is great in Rome and the Vatican City, and New Years is nice there too.
