Now i am going to the Greek Islands in early May next year. Just wondered whether anyone could give me a hint as to what I should see and where I should stay?

I have heard that Santorini and Mykonos are worth a visit, any comments on this?

Check out Santorini... its supposed to be nice.

I was in Santorini and Ios this year. Santorini is beautiful. I stayed at Hostel Anna on Perissa Beach, which is a great place if you want to meet other young backpackers and have bon fires on the beach, and stay up to watch the sun rise. I've heard that Thira (I think) which is the main town is really beautiful but I never got there. I did get to Oia, another town, which is absolutely gorgeous and is supposed to have to most beautiful sunset in the world which I don't doubt. If you go to Santorini, you can pay for a volcano tour day, weher you go to the volcano, hot springs, another island and end up in Oia. Great day!
Ios was nice, there's not as much too see, it's more of a partying island. It is lot's of fun if you're into going out and there are many beaches. The town is also very pretty. Most people stay at Far Out Camping, which seemed fun, kin of club med-y though. I stayed at Francesco's, which is also very popular and much better if you ask me. It's in town and is beautiful and clean.
