Have just got back from a week in Alghero, Sardinia. Relatively cheap if you stay away from eating in the harbour or the square. Scenery was amazing..i cannot believe i spent nearly 4 days on a beach...clear white sands, aqua blue sea etc. Went on a really good trip to Neptunes cave to see some awesome stalagmites and stalactites although i did think that this was a little pricey at 20 euros; however i would recommend going.

At £650 a week the apartments are a little out of my range being the poor teacher that i am...it's great having 6 weeks off just wish i had more money to do things...oh well V fest next weekend!
