48 hours in London.
i will be in london for two nights only this july (9th+10th) and i want to make the most of my time there and see as much as possible.
i arrive at 5am on a flight from oz and i notice that most hostels dont allow check in until around 2pm. so im going to be tired and dirty from the long flight. lol. can anyone suggest a good hostel? it needs to be easy to get to from the tube. im thinking about the generator, has anyone stayed there? i obviously want to see the tourist things like buckingham palace, piccadilly circus, big ben....anything else i should see? i also want to go clubbing one night. how can i find out if there are any good dj's playing when im there? thanks in advance! |
When it comes to hostels I have no idea but I hear people talk about the Generator so try there maybe? Travel Punk has a page for hostel searching though which should be a good help.
Your list seems great in fact the only thing I would add is perhaps getting a drink and seeing the live shows at Covent Garden. Its not just music either-one time I went and they had this guy escaping from chains and jugglers and people who will do portraits it can be quite the experience! |
Hi, sirensounds. Are you back from your trip? Where did you stay? I will also be going to London in August.
