Islands of Greece

For those of you who have been to greece, im just wondering if its worth spending a couple of precious days just to travel to the island Corfu, just to check it out, and i guess to add another country to my "been there" list. I guess, id only be going there to party/relax, but not all that fussed. Id probably rather used up those couple of days down in spain/portugal.

Anyone know any reasons why i should not miss out on going to corfu this july?

I have'nt been to Corfu, but I know a a lot of people who have, and they loved it.
I've been to a smaller island in Greece called Poros. It's not spolit by tourists yet, and it's really lovely. I highly reccomend a visit to this island. Theres a great restuarant there called Oasis, and the owner is really nice! So were the waitors!!! hee hee.
Poros has a fishing port, and is opposite one of the main islands. You can only get there via boat as they don't have an airport. But it's a goergous island. I fell in love with it, and I would re-visit the place!

I know a lot of people who went to the Pink Palace in Corfu and had the time of their life....Me i am planning on going to Myknos in mid June....and IOS is supposed to be lots of fun too.....but if you want a mix of fun and culture to justify all the partying you are doing then go to Crete...!!!! THE LABRYNTH!!!
