best of western european internet cafes

ok internet cafes are all over the place but if you found one with a really good rate, amenities, etc post it here

it might be important to note the date of the post because im not sure how often these things open and close

if you don't remember the exact address describe its location as accurately as possible (as I'm about to do lol)

munich: there is an internet cafe in a 3 level mall, called M, and its between the train station, karlsplatz u-bahn station, the top level is a cinema (kino in german) and the cafe is located in the underground level

the rate was 1 euro an hour with skype capabilities and headsets already set up

compare to: wombat's hostel 3 euros per hour and easyinternetcafe across the street from the train station 2 euros per hour

i cant remember any particular good ones, but a tip for scamming internet - you know with the coin operated internet stations you often find in hostels - there always seems to be one that's 'out of order'? yeah.. its usually because the coin machine part is out of order. often the computer still works and because the coin thing wont work, the internet is free. its always worth trying the 'out of order' machines

Salamanca has a good one in the Plaza Mayor that is reasonably priced (shockingly!)

I am not a fan of the "easy internetcafes" because you can't upload your photos to the computer.

There is an all linux (which I prefer over windows) cyber cafe in Munich (I forget the name but if you are walking from the train station to the Glockenspiel it is about a quarter mile (0.5 km) from the Glockenspiel on the left handside. It's open 24h and has vending machines inside (a definite plus!)

Just a heads up make sure you put your leg through your day bag and if possible put your photos on the computer then put the camera in the bag. Things tend to disappear in cyber cafes.
