Ladybug

Hey guys!

My friend and I are going to Britain this summer. We're looking forward to it so much and are currently in the process of planning our trip.
Therefore I wondered, if maybe someone could help me out with some tips and suggestions, what cities to visit etc. All in all, we'll have eight days "on the road" (or better "on the train"), starting out from Stansted Airport in England. After these eight days we'll go to London and will meet up with a friend.
I know that eight days aren't much and would like to know how far we can possibly get. Would it be worth while visiting Scotland as well or are we too short in time for that (in addition to England and Wales)? We'd really like to see as much as possible.
Oh, also another question...is it worth visiting the Isle of Wight? I would really like to but am not sure about ferry fares etc..
