I haven't lived through a summer here yet, so I'm not sure if the kids travel in packs or not, but at least you won't have to deal with school groups traveling around, which about killed me on my first trip to Poland.* They kept inverting the triangles on the loos, so I was never sure whether I was going into the boys or the girls...* And tearing around screaming at all hours.* Arrrrgh!* In guest houses you'll be fine.

Hostel (with noisy drunken teeny boppers) Accommodation: $25
Air horn: $15
The look on the faces of hungover teenies after being blasted at 8am: Priceless

Back in the days of being a high school teacher I also used to be the coordinator for all the foreign exchange students, who mostly came from Europe and weren't expecting to end up in the shitty little town I was teaching in. So they would preoccupy themselves with drugs, alcohol and in the boys’ case, sexually accosting everything female with a pulse.
If I caught them using the first two vices, I would process their asses out of the country within a week (school would expel them cancelling their student visa which made them illegal aliens and the Federal police or immigration would escort their asses out of the country). In the case of the third problem, if due process didn't do the job, I made sure the local footballers (rugby not soccer) knew what our foreign male guests were getting up to and showed them some "local hospitality".
However that said, most were really wonderful young adults and stayed the full term of their exchange and endured... Stamp out the bullshit early and the rest looks after itself. Which leads me to dickhead school groups in Hostels - If I encounter one, I'll be tearing their teachers a new a-hole if I can find them
- kids will be kids no matter what.
