We land in Prague at midnight and we have to get to our hostel in Smichov... The question is how to get there?

- Is the metro running after midnight? Buses? Trams?
- How much should I expect to pay for a cab from the airport to Smichov (there will be 3 of us traveling together)?

I'm sure it will be easy for a cabbie to figure out that 3 girls with backpacks are not locals and I don't want to pay too much simply for being a tourist. Are there any taxi companies you'd reccommend?

I'd very much appreciate help from anyone in Prague or anyone wh has been there recently. Thanks!

I haven't heard such hot things 'bout the cabbies there! Apparently they're still alittle rough around the edges after being deregulated. Of course I have no idea how to get to my hostel yet...I should probably look that up before I go. :D

if you check out easyjet's web page there is a section telling you how to get from the airport to the centre. Prague is extremely cheap for transport only cost something like 25pence on the bus to get from the airport. Just make sure you arrange or ask about a fare before you start travelling in cab
