OK.....so, I plan on stopping by Romania on my way from Prague (praha) to Athens.....I am going to stay in Bucharest the capital for about 3 days and take a day trip to the legendary castle of Count Dracula......sppoooooooookkeeeeyyyyyyy.....

I am actually also going to meet some people there.....Strangley enough I met this young couple who live over there on an online game......i know....weird......But I've kept in contact with them and have been emailing and that sorta thing....anyways, having a local guide there will be great....it will allow me to really immerse myself in Eastern European Culture....

Anyways, Has anyone ever been to Romania? Anyone know anything about it? Any suggestions for me when I travel over there???

I'd like to go there, it looks like an awsome place from what I've seen and cheap as hell too.

I haven't been to Romania, myself. But a couple other Tpunks have and raved about it. I know Atchoum, who is off for a year on her round the world trip, loved it. And I think Moc has been there, as well.

And knowing some people there, well, can't get much better! I say go for it!

I actually know Romania. Not much of it but I can still give you some advices. In Bucharest try the Lipscaniu area (I think that is way they call it) it’s the oldest place in the city full of antiques shops but if you have a guide he will take you there for sure.
As in for the castle I never was there but this should help you http://www.spirit.ro/index.php?option=cont...w&id=24&Itemid= but I don’t know if this is the Count castle.
