Traveling around Czrech Republic

So I'mhaving a hard time deciding what pass to get. I leave in 2 weeks. I'm going to be going to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Should I get the Czech/Austria pass? Or the Austria/Germany pass? I've heard traveling around Czech Republic is easier by train and I'm only go to Prague and Cexky Krumlov. So what do you think?

Don't bother buying a pass for Czech - it's so ridiculously cheap to get around.

If you're going from Prague to Cesky Krumlov and back, you'll probably be taking the bus. It's faster and easier. The train requires several transfers, and the rail system is *not* very well set up for non-Czech speakers. There's one English speaking window at the main train station, but they're not open half the time. Whereas at the bus station, which is easily reachable by metro, there's plenty of English signage, and semi-helpful staff.

Still, it was a *blast* trying to get to Kutna Hora on the train with nary an English speaker around. I had to speak broken Czech to a local in our cabin, who assumed we were German tourists and spoke German back to me and my friends in an effort to impress us. Definitely a fun interchange. But confusing otherwise.

yeah the trains are pretty cheap. mind you, you do run the risk of rushing to get to the train on time then having the train sit at the platform for an hour and get to your destination an hour and a half late. but really its fun times.

The busses are packed though, you'll be standing half the time there.

I got the train out of the place but I was going to vienna. There really old and slow but you get to sit down at least.
