Hey there, I'm travelling to Israel in a week, and I have a couple of questions for lovely t-punks!
First thing, I'm travelling on two separate itineraries - one from GEG to BOS, and another from BOS to TLV. My mom is all concerned about the Boston Logan airport because I'm going to need to get between terminals C and E - there's a shuttle bus that goes between and she is convinced that I'll have to go through security again when I arrive. I'm pretty positive that I won't because the shuttle bus departs from the arrivals level, but anyone with experience that can tell me the deal?
Next thing, how much money is generally recommended to have in cash when you arrive in a country where they give you a tourist visa on the spot? Israel doesn't require US citizens to get a visa beforehand but when you go through customs they recommend that you have some money so you don't look like evil backpacker scum.
A couple short ones: thoughts on Iberia Airlines? Madrid Airport? I can't think of anything else to ask but I'm sure I have some more questions rattling around somewhere.. anyway, thanks a million! Can't wait to get some delicious Hanukkah foods down my gullet.
