Hey all,
Will be leaving in August/September for a "Round the world" Trip involving the ocean, and the different cultural attitudes towards her. Will be taking some dive gear and my surfboard. Trying to surf and dive everywhere, plus talk to people about how the Ocean is a part of their particular culture. Starting off in the U.K. (London) since I have friends there, heading towards Cornwall, then Wales, Ireland, Scotland, then Scandinavia before winter hits. Afterwards southern Europe beckons...etc...etc..trying to stay close to the ocean so my gills don't dry out, but will probably go into the interior for some trips.
Anyways, anyone want to join up with me at any part of this trip, know of any good surf or dive spots, want to learn how to surf or dive (I am an instructor), or just want to throw down a few pints, give me a shout. Thanks.

Hey,
I'm doing my checkout dive for my Open Water Diver cert on June 3/4. Then I'm leaving for Europe on June 14th and I'll be there for about 11 weeks. Let me know if you are diving anywhere in Spain or Greece in July or August.

Welcome aboard, always good to have more divers! Probably won't be in the area when you are...Going to start my trip with the Northern Countries, before winter sets in, and then head south, but if you're ever in Los Angeles, and you want to do some diving, shoot me a message, we've got boats running all the time, and I do dig beach dives!

Havent been in a while.... but I'm a diver. So if you're in some warm weather I'd love to join. Also been looking to pick up surfing if you're serious about teaching... what's your travel plans look like?

Ash- I'm still in the planning stages of the trip, but rough plan: Late summer/Fall in England, Ireland, Scotland, Scandinavia, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, then with any luck wintering in the south of Europe and Africa, then spring back in Europe, over to Southwest Asia, Maldives, then Asia, Oz, NZ, SOuth Pacific, Hawaii, Latin America, South America, then back to L.A.....unless I fall in love with a place and decide to stay on for a bit....
More than welcome to join up on any leg of the trip, and yep, totally willing to teach you how to surf...
Just let me know when and where...
Reuben
