Alright, I made plans this summer to backpack europe for 2 months alone. Well im now into my 2nd week (currently in Barcelona) and its starting to get to me. I mean im not too much of a loner and when I planned the trip none of my friends had any cash to blow so I thought I would surely meet people on the way. So far the hostel bars have been cool and its easy to strike up a conversation with fellow travelers (specifically the flying pig) but going out to a public bar by you,re self in a foreign (sp) country isnt the most social activity. It usually ends up with me just chilling at the bar and spending money.
So if ayone else is currently floating around out here and wants to meet up let me know. Im 18, male, from virginia, and like to check out the sights by day and party at night.
