Hi all! I'm a 21y/o female coming to Australia in May all by lonesome self. I'm nervous  and excitement both:D--but definitely more excitement.
I'm going to be down around Sydney and Melbourne and where ever else I land for three months with my working visa--hoping to find a job at a bar or possibly a ski resort. I'm pretty open at this point for anything and am down for any kinds of adventure and fun.
From what I gather, it should be fairly easy to meet other people, but it would be nice to know some others who have same or similar plans as I do before hand. If you do and would like to meet up, drop me a line. Or if you have any advice for me, that is definitely welcome and much appreciated. Thanks!

wanderlust- hiya! I'm heading into brisbane on april 28 (after three weeks in fiji). I'm doing the working visa thing as well. And I have no real set plans. Just gonna see where I end up. Hey! I'm going to Melbourne or Sydney in Feburary/march, i have my working visa and i'll be looking for someone to live with. who knows, maybe by May i'll be moving to another city in australia, but i'll definatly be around. hope to see you there!yvonne

hey,
my friend and i (both canadians, F, 23) are heading to australia in may.. we are starting our trip in cairns, sticking with teh WARM weather! and are making our way down to sydney over the next 6 months after that... we are using teh Oz Experience buses as our main transport but we are not concerned with staying on tehir route.. as long as we get to teh cities tehy stop at we cna hop back on teh bus, so we are up for anything...
anyone else doing this oz experience thin? any thoughts on it?

i'm heading over to OZ also aroudn mid June. I'm also going solo, so i'd really like to meet up with someone whose been there for a while, or even just arriving. i'll be staying at least 2 days in sydney, and from there i don't know where i'll go. you should drop me a line, and we can make plans, if you'd like.

Holla! I'm off to oz in may aswell on my own with a WHV. I'm going to Perth first, and then to Cairns, and then travelling down maybe. No proper set plans yet tho. If you wanna meet for drinks let me know.

Good onya Beady!! Great to hear a backpacker coming to the West Coast of Australia. From my enthusiasm you may have guessed that I am from Perth! Its a shame I head off for Europe in March though, but if you want to know stuff about my super city tell me. yessss I am biased

JUST QUIETLY: Im an oz chick and have some brill ideas for all of you can even meet u up with some of my mates. I used to work at oyster bar in sydeny and hospitality all over. I go tho england on sat so you can all fill my shoes. Ya know il sratch yours and so forth. Very connected!!! questions anyone??? Lynda2x
