Hi,

New to this website. Was looking for info on which hostels were decent in Paris, and couldn't resist adding my itinerary to this board.

Phx to Paris May 31
Paris Jun 1-Jun 5
Madrid Jun 6-Jul 4
Barcelona Jul 4-Jul 20
various Mediterranean July 20-Aug 1
Eastern Europe (Hungary, Austria, Czech Rep., Slovakia, Poland) Aug 2-Aug 15

You guys just got me super excited about Pamplona Running of the Bulls. I would love to make it up there the weekend of July 9-11th. Please keep me updated on your plans for Pamplona and i'll try to be there.

Is there anyone going to be in Paris as the same time as me and want to share a hostel room (i'm finding stuff VERY book'd)? Anyone in Eastern Europe at the same time and want to speak German (or local langugage) for me? I'll return the favor by showing you around Madrid while i'm there if you want.

Hey USC! Welcome to the boards and I hope you can make it to Pamplona. I am possibly leaving for Paris this Wednesday, but I might have to postpone my trip by anywhere from 1-2 weeks (and pay over $300 to change my flight) in which case I will have almost an identical itinerary to yours. So I'll let you know. But at any rate, I'll definitely be in Pamplona! Take care!

U2 fan.......thanks for the warm greetings! I am living in Dublin for a year as an au pair and going to drama school in september. It really is a great city. The people here really are so much different, in a good way of course! Where are you living right now? Are you going to be down in Pamplona too? If you ever come back to Dublin you will have to drop a line, and we can go and get a pint or two, or three.....haha!

ps.....the guy i am staying with here is Bono's cousin, cool eh?!?!

I'm actually planning on extending my stay in Eastern Europe to around the same time you'll be there. I'll only be in Prague and various German cities though. I do know a little German.

Hey Lndelou! You'll have to tell me more about your experiences as an aupair. I have on again, off again thought about doing that....the only reason I am for now not doing it is because I decided I couldn't give up a year and need to go to grad school right away (blah), this fall. And when I was looking, most families wanted at least a 9 month commitment.

Right now I'm in Atlanta....my plans for traveling are up in the air; I was supposed to come to Paris on Wednesday and was spending 2 months mostly in Spain, but now I have to cancel that flight and come over in 2 weeks or so...maybe I'll look for a cheap fare to Dublin? I would love to get back...I do definitely plan on being in Pamplona though!!!

I have a picture of me in front of Bono's house in Killeney...So um, any chance you will meet Bono? Any chance that I could come meet you and meet Bono? Just kidding...

Well actually, I'm really not........I saw the Edge near Grafton street and it is one of my biggest regrets not asking him for a picture...reason enough to come back to Dublin! U2 members to pseudo stalk!

Love,
Lauren-a girl that is obsessed with U2!!!!!!!!

And no people, I am not a serious stalker....it is common knowledge where Bono's house is and tons of people make the pilgrimage to the massive gate in front of his house!!

Hey everyone! I'm 26/m from Ohio. I'll be flying into Lisbon July 6th, working my way to Pamplona, through some more of Spain, over into south France (heard the hiking there is some of the best in the world ), up to Paris, over to Amsterdam, down through Germany into Switzerland, probably check out Mt. Blanc, over into Italy, meeting my brother in Venice on August 1st, moving down through Italy, ferry over to Greece for the 1st week of the Olympics (11th-18th), cheap flight to London, home on August 22nd.
I'll be travelling solo until August 1st. Planning on using the rails to get around, but I'd also like to do some hiking/backpacking. I'll be carrying a tent and stuff with me. ANyone interested in meeting up or travelling together? Sounds like there's gonna be one hell of a party in Pamplona!
E-mail me if you'd like to meet up for some time!
See ya' there!!!
- Neil

I´m in Spain until July 17. If anyone passes through Madrid before July 4th or Barcelona between July4th and July 17th, drop me a line and I´ll show you around. I also have a spanish cell phone if you want my number. Hope to hear from some of you. If not, see you in Pamplona.

Hey SONAM,
When are you gonna be in Amsterdam?? I arrive in Munich on the 25, then am going to Adam on the 29th. Let me know if you are gonna be there then?

As for the rest of you Tecia, Ashpunk, Sonam
I know we have all been on the bulls post about sleep arrangements, lets set up a meeting time for the night before the party. The 7th is gonna be easy, people are gonna be drunk and just sleep in the park. But as for the 6th, should we arrange a meetign place for the 4 or 5 of us who want to rough it the night before...

Who is running with me on the 7th?
